Celebrating American Accessories at Bergdorf Goodman

Wednesday night, Bergdorf Goodman hosted a book launch party for the CFDA/Candy Pratts Price tome "American Fashion Accessories," which you can read all about here at Vogue.com.

It was a fun event, and it's a great book - definitely worth checking out.  And this morning, I happened to run into CFDA executive director Steven Kolb in the Condé Nast lobby, and he mentioned that they are currently working on two more books - a men's fashion compendium and a fashion-related cookbook - both to be released in fall 2009.  You can't say the CFDA hasn't stepped up its commitment to help raise the profile of the American fashion industry.  Way to go!
