Derek Lam opened his first Manhattan store in SoHo last night - designed by architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of SANAA (aka, the duo behind the New Museum of Contemporary Art) - and Crosby Street was closed for several hours during the opening party, which attracted the likes of Anna Wintour, Phillip Lim and Rihanna, among others.
