The Designer: Halston
The Venue: Cedar Lake, with 27 models standing on extremely tall pedestals in the center of the room, which went dark periodically to showcase a trio of glow-in-the-dark dresses in the front row.
The Crowd: Phillip Bloch, Joe Zee, Amy Sacco and Cindy Leive.
The Collection: In his less-than-inspired sophomore outing at the label, British-based designer Marios Schwab harkened back to Halston's disco dolly beginnings with louche jumpsuits, languid jersey dresses, hooded caftans and the aforementioned Day-Glo dresses (the latter of which begged the question: why?)
The Standout Piece(s): A perfectly cut chocolate leather trench, and an olive leather blazer worn with olive suede trousers and a olive chiffon blouse that was slit to the waist.
