What inspired you for fall 2012?
Hauntings.
How does this play out in terms of colors, materials and shapes?
We love the ways in which that word are used, especially in the context of romanticism and nostalgia. We really liked the idea of prim as well and to see that evolve into something more provocative and sensual.
What music did you listen to while designing this collection?
A lot of John Maus, Vince Guaraldi, Throwing Muses, Stephenhero, Parenthetical Girls, Wim Mertens.
What do you look for when casting your show/presentation?
Someone to fit the mood and atmosphere of the collection
How do you stay energized/balanced in the weeks leading up to NYFW?
Sugary treats, salty treats and soda!
What other show(s) are you looking forward to seeing this season?
We are launching C & T at Barney's Co-Op in March so after our show it will be a lot of prep and excitement for that!
How do you plan to unwind after Fashion Week?
No sleep until after March and then we will see. But in the meantime there is always Xbox.
