Missed my Dossier photo essay on André Leon Talley's Little Black Dress exhibit, complete with quotes from ALT himself? Never fear, you can see it here. images by Lauren David Peden/The Fashion Informer
What's not to love about Libertine's Johnson Hartig? He's smart. He's funny. He's politically active. And he puts his proverbial money where his mouth is, fashion-wise. See what this exuberantly talented designer is all about in my profile of him on Dossier.
Here's a link to my In Conversation with Tom Scott piece on Dossier. I love Tom's work and think his approach to fashion design is truly unique. And these images, by photographer Bailey Roberts, are gorgeous, don't you think?
I recently had a long and meandering chat with Tess Giberson, who is one of my all-time favorite designers (shhh, don't tell the others!). You can read it—and see Samatha Casolari's poetically evocative photos—on Dossier, one of my all-time favorite publications to work with (shhh, don't tell the others!).
I was recently asked by Dossier Journal to chronicle one day in my New York Fashion Week experience. We chose last Tuesday, February 15th, as I would be attending and covering ten shows, both emerging and established—Rachel Roy, Vera Wang, Rodarte, Jen Kao, Bibhu Mohapatra, Juan Carlos Obando, Halston, Daniel Vosovic, House of Waris and Frank Tell (whew).
