In honor of New York Fashion Week, I was once again invited to curate a NYFW boutique for Rue La La. Because who doesn't love editor-approved platforms, graphic print dresses and goodies from Calvin Klein, Proenza Schouler and Balenciaga? (I do! I do!) The boutique opens at 11am tomorrow on Rue. Summer's over and that can only mean one thing: time for Fashion Week! Thursday marks the official kickoff of the spring 2013 shows (with a slew of designers showing off-calendar starting on Wednesday), so I asked some of New York's finest for the lowdown on the inspiration behind their soon-to-be-unveiled collections, which you can read about here. If you happen to find yourself in San Francisco in early August, make a point of stopping by the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the de Young Museum. It's definitely worth a trip. But don't wait too long; it closes on the 19th.
